Its somewhat difficult to get rid of if you dont have access to a brush hog, but you just continue to mow over it like its grass and it will be 100% gone within 3yrs. The rhizome has a trick where it will go dormant until the following season, but you just continue to mow anything that shoots up and it will die. The rhizome requires a tremendous amount of energy that it cannot get unless its allowed to grow.The problem with bamboo is people try to half ass it and mow it twice per year and the rhizome will just persist off of the energy it can get from a few months of shoot growth. As long as you continually mow over it, it cannot store enough energy to spread or grow.With that said do you think a multi-million dollar facility will have the ability for a landscape crew to mow once per week?
