The only thing I'll say is that what you're describing does little to fundamentally change the ability of someone to break through to the upper strata. In America at least, it's fairly simple to do if you're talented. I have no college education or provenance and my father was a plumber but I manage a trading team at a top 3 hedge fund now basically by sacrificing my youth in study and hacking, positioning myself amongst some good friends, and of course a fair amount of good luck. These markets won't magically become impenetrable on the basis of class, but they may do so by virtue of simple demand destruction of entry level jobs. Already at my work we have automated everything that a level 1/2 technologist would do. It didn't replace any jobs for me because our team did all of that on our own and I wasn't going to scale any more, but it simply eliminated a class of tedious busywork and allows the engineers to focus on other stuff, which is great.
