The starting point of any homosexual's neuroses lies in realizing, at a very young age, most objects of their sexual desire find them repulsive. This is where gender dysphoria begins for those gays unable to process that fact, believing that only by becoming the opposite gender they might ever attain happiness / undercut the connotations of disgust.
