Japan is going back to the decade of abundance. Yen has yet again became competitive on the export market.

what am I supposed to buy?
>>
>>539604649
Soon you'll be buying Sony Trinitroons and Panasonic VHS combos. They're back.
>>

Yen inversion is a sign of USD collapse

not my problem
>>
>>539604699
the VHS + TV combo was pretty cool
>>
>>539604649
fleshlights and hentai manga before they ban it
>>
>>539604498
Good for them. I hope Japan conquers the world.

I've been to Japan. They have products you wouldn't believe. Like for instance, travel power adapter. In the US you'll end up with some garbage like picrel.

>septics

Used something similar for business trip to middle east.
basically unusable devices in the early 2010s, now with preparation easy to travel.

And that will cost you something like $30 plus shipping. Just garbage.
>>539605147
Whereas in Japan, you can get something like picrel, for 1000 yen. Universal plug, tiny, compact, no parts to lose.

Universal plug in, universal plug out. Plug anything into anything. You can't even find that here. Not for all the money in the world.
Japan has tons of things like this. You don't know what you're missing until you've been there.
>>
>>539604498
Japan is an export economy and strong currency means that the exports are more expensive to the customers. Strong currency = good isn't straightforward.
>>
>>539605308
And it is like this tiny little oragami collapsing genius thing. Perfect for traveling. Not a bulky pile of shit that doesn't work or breaks easily.
>>
>>539604699
If Japan brings back BetaMAX, supremacy confirmed
We will bow to Nippon

just buy yen in bricks and build a house

Akiko and Kimiko ass to ass, you shaking a flashlight.
>>
>>539605326
japan also imports literally all of their energy, a rise in oil prices as the yen falls will absolutely rape their economy with inflation

You can blame our regulatory state for that. Plastics manufacturing has a literal mountain worth of regulation associated with it.
And our vibrantly diverse and culturally enriched workforce probably can't even design something like that without driving the costs up with consultancies
>How would this device effect minorities
>And we need a climate impact statement
>>
>>539604498
>line go up
doesn't that mean that the yen is becoming weaker?
>>
>>539605625
If you are an export nation you want your currency weaker.
China does it intentionally
>>
>>539605625
yeah but a weaker yen is technically good for exports, however while it is good for exports it's really bad for imports, and japan imports a lot, including most of their energy and a lot of their food so they do get raped by inflation at the end of the day, if the yen weakened, while energy and food prices were low (oil below 50 bucks) then it would be good for their economy, currently though the negatives outweigh the positives
>>
>>539605326
Things like that don't happen is isolation. They'll have to raise prices just to deal with the rising cost of living for their workers and the cost of fuel.
>>
>>539604498
Japan should import brown people to bolster their economy
>>
>>539604498
It was 320 in the 70s so we have a long way to go.
>>
>>539605701
>>539605775
ok I see
>>
>>539605785
not to mention that the yen is weak exactly because they have to buy a lot of oil in dollars which got really expensive, making the yen weaker as more and more of it gets exchanged to dollars to buy oil, if oil prices stabilised then the yen would strengthen too since not so much of it would have to be converted to dollars, this "boon" of a weak yen hinges on an existential issue to begin with
>>
>>539604498
will anime be okay?
>>
>>539605239
that's a regular chinese power outlet, you are just showing what chinks use on daily basis
>>
>>539606238
Anime has not being ok since 2005 or so
>>
>>539604699
>>539604498
That's not happening.
And if it does, America will just force a plaza accord onto them.
Japan is a vassal state, unlike China.

>>
>>539604699
I'm never giving Sony money ever again.
