Of all the times I've been stopped, which is few because I don't act like an imbecile that draws attention, they've never cared that I had my gun. I'm just aware that being a cop is a shitty job, a lot of them don't want to command people around or interrupt someone's day for whatever reason, not to say there aren't some who do. People are just people at the end of the day, you approach interactions with them having a thread of reasonable caution and just show some kindness at first, usually any confrontation will end without fuss. Yeah, you kinda have to be a sociopath to survive in this world and be ready to start blasting but showing kindness for a first impression will take you far.
