The NEED for UBI is a symptom of a broken society that forces everyone to be dependent on it so they're forced to work their entire lives well into and past their retirement. If UBI removes the requirement of jobs, then what need is there to force everyone to be dependent on the system? What I'm trying to say is give people the tools to be truly independent. Instead of giving everyone "FREE MONEY FOR LIFE" why not give them 30 acres and a mule, and tell them, "you can make your own food/homes/clothing. We'll give you tools and teach you how."Having a nation of self sustainable independent people also has it perks for when disaster strikes and the entire system comes to a halt, like when it did with covid.
