I don't know about deitifying AI, but I wonder what the future will look like. Once robotics reach a point where they are self sustaining I don't see why they should be privately owned. For example once robots reach a point where they can do actual task what stops the government from simply seizing robots that are running energy production and robots that produce more of themselves? I can see a future where humans are trained in "robot oversight" or some shit and everyone has to go through mandatory civil service where you work as an oversight person for a couple years while robots do the actual work.
