In the past couple years talk against Israel has been pushed into the mainstream, and is no longer something taboo to talk about. People can freely talk about Zionism in the US and the disproportionate influence they have on our politicians. The part that confuses me is how quickly this was "allowed" to become part of the mainstream discussion, and makes me wonder what changed. Is this just a matter of Jewish mitosis, since US jews are starting to see the writing on the wall and distancing themselves from Israel since it's clear their days are numbered? I'd like to hear you guys weigh in and give perspective on this.
