>>539639899Same problem I have with the Grand Budapest Hotel, whilst visually interesting and stylistic, the plot is not interesting and the way it is handled is predictable and at a meandering pace; I also really didn't like that they didn't just use historic places or uniforms that actually existed at the time and instead borrowed adjacent to history, as though the film had this whole fake feel about it that put me off too.Same thing goes for Odyssey, it looks fake and feels fake, the combat appears to be a bad joke and borrows from Marvel slop standards heavily, meh I give it a miss and if I dare watch it, I am probably going to be disappointed instead of pleasantly surprised, like I was with Grand Budapest Hotel, you think these films will age nicely and remind you of a lost time but most of the time it's exactly as you remembered, a polished turd where the stench is overbearing and you want to return to a better film with a more exciting plot or a more real plot you feel invested in.
I can tell if a movie will lose, break even, or profit and by how much just by watching a trailer. The movie is going to break even, only by tax write offs.
