really it was reddit first when it started to take off and people tried to be noticed with this low effort dreck. youtube has been such a monopoly there are few other english sites that have progressed that far culturally.now it's like a ton of bots like it's deliberately copying from one video to another to make themselves seem real.

Best way to see that it's all bots is to just sort by new comments, usually all the bot comments are made when the video is first uploaded to make it look more popular than it is.
