You don't have to pay that. It's your dead son's debt, not yours.

Dying in a hospital "surrounded by loved ones" is the gayest most emasculating shit on earth. Real men don't leave remains when they go out

>shit costs money, even when you're dead
>suddenly everyone wants to have a problem
You don't have to pay it unless you put your name on the paperwork.

It's much worse than anything can imagine. There are 3rd party medical billing coders that hospitals and large medical practices hire. These firms are experts in billing codes. They know if X happens then they can use these 35 approved codes, health insurance doesn't verify anything, the codes are pre-approved. The best medical code billers are exceptionally skilled at getting the most money out of a patient. Hospitals and medical groups usually have a deal with them similar to ancient tax collectors. They promise a certain revenue and get a cut of it. The whole system is completely fucked up.

You should see what the Germans in the 1920s were paying, they had to bring in an extra boat.

Yeah? They have to coordinate with the funeral home and have multiple staff members handle the body.

Yeah and 100 other people. Never trust those ashes are actually your loved one. I think my mom's ashes have been on top of my sister's cabinets for like 4-5 years kek.

600V? You might survive that. Quite easily in fact.
Do a power line, or find a ground level transformer in a substation and piss on it. Those can be like 45,000. You'll definitely die and if youre lucky one or two of your limbs will fly off because of how high of a voltage it is.

That happened during Mao, and it was a bill for 6 cents. Idk 6 cents to them or a mere 6 cents to us but a lot of money for them. Kek

But anyway that hasn't happened in decades. I remember that chinese chick at the end of that Richard Gere movie mentioning this.

Suspiciously cheap. Expect a second bill.

«Those who had seen the accident called an ambulance for him. But Whitten waved them off and called a friend, who drove him to a nearby hospital instead: “I knew that ambulances were expensive,” he said»
«because he’d suffered a traumatic injury, they were obligated to send him to San Francisco General»
«He was loaded into an ambulance for a six-mile transfer, evaluated without additional treatment, and sent home the same night.»
«The ambulance ride, he learned, would cost him $12,873: $737 for the miles traveled, $314 for monitoring his heart on the trip, $151 for infection control, and $11,670 as a “base rate.”» - https://davidoks.blog/p/why-american-ambulance-rides-are

I'm on medicaid and having some stomach issues while awaiting Gastro Specialist. My GP prescribed me Zofran for Nausea...30 pills. I got a bill from my insurance yesterday and it was 950 dollars for the Zofran. My insurance covers it so I'm not worried about that. It's just like....what???
