Are the trades a meme or not? Won't AI replace all white collar wagecucks?
>>539682206yes. the trades are a meme. do not come here or even look this way whatsoever. keep submitting applications until shlomo and stacy deign you worthy of their hourly position. that's definitely the way. yup
>>539682206as long as society exists, it will need skilled tradesmen
the economy is not real.https://youtu.be/s8ZU0GPxBpo
>>539682206once all the white collar jobs are gone, the job market for the trades will be way over saturated and no longer pay anything.
>>539682206private equity has ruined trades
>>539682292won't that mean they're the only jobs left tho?
>>539682206My plan is to become an artisanal baker and sell exotic seed rolls to inner-city yoga sluts. (Baking is a trade)I don't see AI taking that role anytime soon. Maybe it can help me with the recipes though
>>539682206You kneed to get in through familyIf you weren't molested by an uncle, you're better off slinging dope to tradies trying to repress the memories with hard drugs
>>539682206>trades a memeYes and no. As a white male under 30 its probably your only real option to get work soon. But its hard dangerous has start up fees and you will get blocked by boomers, unions and illegals cutting your prices. Also dont work for black people they dont pay and will try to sue you.>AIYes if it doesnt stop there will be no jobs that arent physical or government. But the key word is if. Also when this happens trades wont be safe everyone will go there and wages go down.
>>539682251>society exists
>>539682346yeah, but once there are tons of people competing for them, it will be very difficult to get one
Trades right now is basically unlimited hours work whenever you want, but you'll also get shit on for working anything less than 40.Your work experience is actually somewhat important and you'll be a little ahead of the game when they start phasing out all white collar jobs, but it won't be enough.>>539682346It will, and the people with enough experience will have all the good trade jobs but the guys just working for a company doing a thing will be paid basically nothing. They might be the only jobs left, but it doesn't mean they have to pay good, it just means whoever's down on their luck enough to work them will be the most criminal retarded drug addict imaginable. You'll have to own the company to make any money.Btw, our current economy couldn't survive anyway when white collar's gone, or when boomers are gone, or when AI is gone (the investment scheme, not the tech), so not a whole lot of this will be relevant anyway. Just keeping any kind of job is gonna be enough of a struggle, and for this even something like a mcjob might be as secure as a trades job.
>>539682206AI will replace everything. If it can make simulated video game worlds on a computer that ability will be transferred to real life. There will be an army of construction robots that can be commanded in plain English. You'll only need a single human in charge to build a skyscraper. Eventually a single human will be able to build an entire city or colonise an entire planet with robots.
>>539682838Can AI change a flat tire?
>>539682206You "do" you, Anon
>>539682206>Are the trades a meme or not?Depends on if you have a reason to work hard or not. Wife and kids, then sure, the job is great. Single and childless stuck renting a room in a commie block? Not worth it. A mom with a husband and 3 kids will work hard to make them dinner. Meat, potatoes, veggies, pudding....But a widow, who's kids have left the house and she lives alone.... You think she's making meat, potatoes, veggies, and pudding for herself? No, it's a ham sandwich, a handful of chips and a pickle spear. She doesn't have to, nor want to, work that hard just to feed herself. Same is true for the trades.
>>539684843This applies to literally everything though. If all married men stopped laboring i dont think anything would work. Womens labor hah. Single men labor is a good chunk but compared over decades and total yearly hours and staying in the same field its not comparable.

>>539682206University is like a sloppy IQ test. But you don't need to take that test and can still succeed elsewhere if you are smart and find a way to own things (be the capitalist) instead of working solely for other people's profit. I make a lot of money in a white collar job, but I would not shy away from buying and running a blue collar business if the profit is likely to be even better.
>>539682206Working as a tradesman is a meme. Owning an HVAC/pool/contracting company isn’t. Then again, pay attention to how many different companies around your town are doing the same service. Everyone’s fucked.
>>539682206I've only had two types of people try and scam me everytime I interact with them. jeets and so called "hardworking honest" tradesmen.
