Holy shit how can people defend this awful slop movie honestly? They didn’t get anything right from cast to setpieces to costumes to the ship even. Only cool thing was the cyclops. My GF even didn’t like it that much. That Indian shitstain second in command had smaller arms than the troon btw. The sound was awful too. Idk it’s like a 4/10. I think even Nolan doesn’t like it, when he talks about the movie it’s only about the iMax gloating, which in his defence is the only cool part about the movie.

The race swapping is getting most of the attention but the most egregious thing that Nolan has done is change the basics of the story and the character of Odysseus.Odysseus, of all the Greek heroes, was known for his cunning, guile and intelligence. What Nolan has done is to turn him into a whiny, ptsd ridden, bitch.
