A major fire is still burning at Saudi Aramcos Jizan refinery more than 48 hours after Houthi ballistic missile and drone strikes overnight on 25 July.

Satellite imagery and NASA thermal data confirm damage to storage tanks and pipelines at the eastern half of the $21 billion, 400,000-bpd complex, with thick smoke consistent with a crude oil tank fire rather than routine flaring.

https://x.com/clashreport/status/2081642919841153205

The Jizan refinery is protected by layered Saudi air defenses including US-supplied Patriot (PAC-3 MSE) systems (often operated with allied support) and Ukrainian counter-drone technology. Ukrainian "Sky Map" software and expertise, enhance detection and interception of Houthi drones/missiles meanwhile US systems provide high-altitude ballistic missile defense.

Despite this, the 25 July strike penetrated without any interception, causing fires/damage showing limits against saturation attacks from nearby Yemen.

At this point isn't it the path of least resistance for gulfies to all just switch sides to Iran

Their whole life depends on what god allows them to do. Joining iran is strictly forbidden. Internal religious hatred is always bigger than hatred for other religions. Sunni's en shia's muslims prefer jews over each other. Just like protestants and catholics hating each other the most.

Crude oil declined toward $83 per barrel today only because the US and Iran halted strikes against each other over the weekend amid efforts to revive diplomacy, with President Donald Trump reportedly asking for peace talks. The US paused its attacks against Iran starting late Friday without any official announcement - this decision was caused by lack of air defence interceptors and recent strike on Saudi installations, while Tehran said it had halted its retaliatory military strikes in response and engaged in talks with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz. The price can go up anytime if Iran or Houthis decide to strike

I think that Saudis are similar to Bolanda if we talk about vassal-tier relations with the US. They will never tell Mutts to remove their military installations from Saudi Arabia because they still hope that the US of A will do smth for them and the situation would change at their benefit so things were like in the past. They probably dont realize that global balance of power was altered irreversibly and the US de facto lost the war with Iran. Iran would need to irreversibly destroy +50% of their oil installations to make them think, i guess.

They know the US gov can't protect them, but they know that the US gov can still very easily Gaddafi them (due to how shitty they have been to their own people).
Allowing US bases at least makes it unlikely they'll get sodomized by knives; if a few peasants get blown up as a result, that's a sacrifice they are willing to make.

I mean no they can't. It would basically end the oil industry since they are why the us dollar has more value than toilet paper.

Shouldn't we be now at the stage now where everyone is starting to realize that Patriot missiles are not so good at intercepting and that Ukrainians are just scammers embezzling money?

>We import not much from them
you would have imported up to 10% of your natural gas from qatar in form of LNG,
EU imports 20-25% of all their LNG from Qatar and since LNG is the EUs "exit strategy" from (vastly cheaper) russian pipeline gas its fucking us hard.

In the meantime the US now controlle up to 70% of all LNG imports into the EU...
In short Trump has all those retards in brussel at their none existant balls and can squeez them as he whishes.

The EU has gained nothing, but changed their Energy dependance from Russia to the US, and the US let the EU bleed out, by charging 4-5 times more.

they don't even have to join iran. they simply have to not host US bases on their territory. iran never touched the gulf. even now they only fire after the US fired at them. iran could easily wipe all of the gulf infrastructure out.

Few reasons led to USrael cucking out.

Trump has paused plans for sharp military escalation against Iran this weekend, citing risks of draining the Pentagons already low stockpile of Patriot antimissile interceptors and other air defenses in the Middle East.

https://www.nytimes.com/2026/07/25/us/politics/trump-iran-military.html

Two days ago, top Iranian officials warned that Iran is preparing to expand the war significantly if Trump strikes again, including by striking Tel Aviv directly, including entire critical civilian infrastructure of Israel such as desalination/power plants and ordering the Houthis to fully close Bab el-Mandab to all ships - so far the Red Sea/Suez blockade is only partial and applies only to Saudi tankers, while all other ships can pass it.

https://www.nytimes.com/2026/07/23/world/middleeast/iran-iraq-cease-fire-proposal.html

Gen. Dan Caine, Joint Chiefs chairman, privately warned that major operations would also dangerously deplete interceptors protecting US troops in Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, and UAE. Over 1,200 Patriots (>$4M each) have been fired; stocks were low in April and have much worsened. Three US soldiers died in Jordan when one missile penetrated defenses. Few in Trumps circle supported escalation. Strikes reportedly unify Iran around an external threat rather than weakening it. Advisers like Jared Kushner favor longer-term negotiations and economic pressure. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent noted China cut Iranian crude purchases 40% so Iran earns less money - mission accomplished. xD
>>
>>539696772
Fingers crossed this leads to a overthrow of current political classes and the bureaucrats and a new policy on cheap energy from Russia.
The next lot of politicians may need to beg at Putins feet but I am alright with that.
>>
>>539697081

And MBS just bribed Trump for nukes, so looks like his family wants to stay put for now which means all this bullshit is going to continue. We're witnessing Saudi Arabia speedrun through money super power status, lmao this is gonna fuck up terribly. The Arabian people don't have the spine for it
>>
>>539697952
First they'd need to return 500bn of stolen assets, that could be a problem, the money is long gone.
>>
>>539697736
Well, you know how Amerisrael is. Just removing the mutt bases is enough of a reason for the CIA to start meddling and causing problems.
>>
>>539695006
Why don't us supplied patriotic missiles protect them?
>>
>>539698408
PAC-3 was completely depleted. Mutts were recently forced to reactivation of production line of older PAC-2 from Cold War era, for the first time since early 90s, because they concluded that it is better to have "good enough" interceptors than none
>>
>>539698578
But older interceptors can't stop Irans missiles at all because Irans missiles are from this gen.
>>
>>539698711
True. So what? Thats the Mutts problem, not mine xD

https://www.twz.com/land/u-s-army-is-buying-older-pac-2-patriot-missiles-for-the-first-time-in-decades

It is also Bolandas problem because its AA/AD Vistula Program is in 100% based on PAC-3 MSE. Pollocks spent $25bln on this system and so far - after 10 years of waiting - they received only 208 PAC-3 interceptors. Today it is probably zero because we had scandal here in Bolanda recently as it was discovered that government were donating PAC-3s to Ukraine _in secret_ from media/parliament xD
>>
>>539698861
Besides even if they had 208 interceptors, it would be enough for a week of war with Russia and only assuming that only one US base here would be protected and nothing else xD
>>
>>539698408

>>
>>539697999
Yeah that could be a stumbling point but it's their money, Europe needs an 1884 moment, swiping across the whole continent.
None of us may make it out of this alive
>>
>>539695006
We get to live to see the 3 conspirers of 9/11 finish their plan with Trump as golden goy ringmaster. And it sucks so fucking much.
