I don't know about this specific topic, but I guess so because socialism destroys countries, and Lula da Silva's corrupt, leftist government wouldn't have reached power with a Catholic monarchy in charge. Any monarchist would tell you that, yes, it would be in a better state right now, which is also what I think but I don't know because social uprisings can also happen, especially when they're organized by the judemasonic-communist conspiracy.

From his Wikipedia article (take it with a grain of salt... or not):
>During his long reign, Pedro II transformed Brazil from a fragile post-colonial state into a consolidated and internationally respected power. His government was characterized by political stability, freedom of speech, respect for civil rights, economic growth, and the functioning of a constitutional parliamentary system. Brazil achieved military success in conflicts such as the Platine War, the Uruguayan War, and the Paraguayan War, while also resolving numerous internal revolts and diplomatic disputes. Despite resistance from powerful interests, Pedro II ultimately supported and enabled the abolition of slavery in Brazil, a defining achievement of his reign.
>A patron of education, culture, and science, Pedro II gained international recognition as a learned and enlightened ruler. Nevertheless, in 1889 he was overthrown in a coup d'état with limited popular backing, led primarily by military elites favoring a republican regime. Disillusioned and unwilling to provoke civil conflict, he accepted exile without resistance. Pedro II spent his final years in Europe, living modestly and largely alone.

So anytime you hear about social revolts and uprisings in favor of a republic and against some kind of Christian monarchy, it's probably the freemasons who are behind it... and therefore Zionist Jewry. Like with the French Revolution.

This thread probably now has to go to /pol/. Pic sort of related.

Yes, socialism, especially Latin American socialism, is awful. The last time our country had any real dignity was under the military dictatorship
>>
>>539725553
Yes.
Not because of the system itself, but the quality of the people involved.
The monarchy was replaced by a bunch of low IQ generals.

Nah, it actually takes a considerable amount of malicious stupidity, historic ignorance and cynicism to still believe in the communist ideology (socialism is just pre-communism) in 2026 after examples such as how oppressed people live in North Korea, the millions of Venezuelans who have had to flee their home country or all the corruption associated to the Cuban dictatorship where public education is heavily influenced by ideological indoctrination and daily breadlines don't adequately feed the people who manage to survive in the middle of electric blackouts and police brutality.

Did you know Karl Marx wrote poems to the Devil? Pic related. The leftist textbook known as “Rules for Radicals” is dedicated to Satan, “the first rebel”. Narcissism is evil, deceitful, perpetual victimism like that of woke rioters from the globalist New Left. And this video explains why leftism and Satanism are linked with each other:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Sf2qQuSI2I

None of this has to do with the idea of a Christian monarchy deposed by the judeomasonic-communist conspiracy. And you must be retarded if you seriously cannot understand something as basic as the progressive loss of incentive to produce wealth when you keep taking it away from those who amass the most, to give it to those who do nothing more than live off of tax redistribution, which eventually leads to running out of other people's money, just like how rewarding the less successful students with an average score of the whole class punishes those who achieve the best scores, and the average eventually goes down, which is not fair at all.

The United Nations recognizes market economies work best at bringing people out of poverty. In Ukraine, communism caused the Holodomor and gulags in Russia. What the heck are you moronically talking about with “basic economic dignity”?

The Wikipedia article on “African Socialism” identifies Somalia (the country I suspect you must be posting from with a VPN to troll here as a possible glowie) as a socialist country. 1 US dollar today is equivalent to 568 Somalian units of currency. How is that inflation treating you? Does picrel look like “basic economic dignity” in a socialist country like Somalia?

Yes, Brazil would be better without Lula da Silva and friends reaching power.

The military dictatorship was awful too. Highly incompetent people who are partly to blame for what came later.
But yes, at least it was an actual government that tried to improve the country somewhat.

Socialists just seek to implement bizarre and often draconian electorate-specific measures. This is all they do. They never think about the country as a whole and its purpose.
For example, Lula is very willing to enact measures for the blacks (affirmative action), the gays (draconian anti-homophobia laws), the indians (stop essential infrastructure from being built because they're being paid by NGOs to bitch and moan about it), the transexuals (affirmative action and all sorts of draconian hate speech laws), feminists (eveh more draconian "anti-misogyny" laws), the civil servants, the Northeasterners, single mothers (his main voting block), prisoners (his second main voting block) and so on.

They simply do not care about investing on projects that will actually improve the country as a whole, connect regions, diversify the industry, teach new generations of technical workers, teach kids to code, create new roads in the Amazon, devafelize the big cities, institute new chains of production inside the country and so on.
They simply do not care about any of that, never did care, never will. They're just about seducing specific voting blocks, usually the most emotional and cheapest to buy, so they can stay in power as long as possible.

Not to mention all the crime, of course.

Lets see. Free, fair, competitive elections? No. Independent judiciary? No.

Yeah and why do you think that is lol? Because reaping oil benefits and distributing it amongst his elite was the backbone of his regime. No socialism to be found.

he prevented a military coup twice, life underhim was better than decades before and after, he did, independent foreign policy is more important than you know,
>competitive elections
pointless contests that only shuffle around heads while they all uphold the will of the real people in power, the new communal councils and unions actually had the ability to democratically organise and fulfill their goals themselves before maduro nuked them
>independent judiciary
is never independent, better to serve a party serving the people

Which it obviously doesnt and the "people" have no way in terms of altering its decisions lol
>>
>>539725589
Its also telling you said nothing on venezuelas economy and how he made no strides in diversifying it because you know exactly that it wasnt just due to stupidity or some kind of messup. Democracy, of any kind, wouldve gotten in the way of running the state in favour of a tiny circle of elites profitting of oil revenues lol
>>
>>539725589>>539725590
they did through the councils. he definitely could have done more, but compared to the average shitlib and subhuman neolib he was a borderline superman. im not defending the economy because there isnt much to defend, he fucked up and it lead to weak maduro being the puppet of military and the cunt going down the shitter,

just incase your not baiting, and individual unit of a currency can be useless yet that doesnt mean the currency in inflated (1yen and 1 somaliland shilling being useless, and about 163 & 10k being 1 dollar respectively) and you can still buy bread easily here as there.

try learning some economics
