I am receiving between 10 and 20 of these scam calls every day. It is hurting my business. I have reported it to the FCC, the FTC, the FBI, my congressman and state Attorney General. They either dont respond or basically tell me I'm screwed and theres nothing they can do about it. 90% of it is overseas scammers trying to scam people out of their medicare information. They will say they have extra gibs for your Medicare Part A and Part B.They are spoofing US numbers from overseas call centers to get you to answer. The FCC needs to STOP the ability for these calls originated overseas to spoof numbers. It cannot be that hard.A lot of them are using US-based VOIP providers. These providers are not vetting their customers as well as they should be and they should also be held accountable.I have a theory that this might be the reason why there are thousands of shady pharmacies in America that was recently exposed by Nick Shirley. Nowadays you need to practice hardcore opsec on the internet. As other anon saids, there's ton of pajeets working as technical support in all sort of places like amazon. They make extra money by selling your contact info to other scammers. Then you have business selling your data themselves, you should read the term of conditions and read about third parties. Then there are databases which are hacked, you can check if your email has been compromised in Malwarebytes. Never give your email unless it's something really necessary, I just use my real email for google, steam, bank account and work. If I need to login anywhere else I use a new account. You should also change your phone number every few years.
