TIKTOK GANG WHO FORCED VICTIMS TO DANCE AT KNIFEPOINT BEFORE TORTURING THEM JAILED>Two men who robbed, tortured and humiliated partygoers before posting videos of their victims on TikTok have been jailed for a combined 18 years.>Richile Vangu, 20, was sentenced to 11 years, while Oluwatobiloba Akinrinola, 19, received seven years after a terrifying robbery at a house party in Leicestershire.>Armed with a “zombie-style” knife, the gang forced at least eight men into a bedroom, stole designer clothing and phones, and demanded £1,000 from each victim while threatening to stab them if they refused.>The ordeal didn’t end there. Victims were allegedly forced to perform TikTok dances, do star jumps and high knees, before being punched, whipped with a belt, shot with a BB gun and having hot wax poured onto their faces. Vangu also threatened to cut off victims’ dreadlocks if they failed to pay.>Judge Steven Evans said the pair had “tortured” and “humiliated” their victims, with Vangu showing a “complete absence of empathy” as he laughed while footage of the attacks was played during the trial.>Vangu was convicted of robbery, blackmail and assault, while Akinrinola was found guilty of multiple counts of robbery, blackmail and actual bodily harm. Two other defendants were cleared of all charges.
