What are the political implications of rising food costs ? I've been struggling and centrelink jobseeker isn't enough so I've been surviving off dog food cans and boiled rice + root vegetables. Don't knock it till you try it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhkJObjLSo8

I'm sure you could get a giant bag of rice to eat each week cheaper than several cans of dog food dude. Some cheap spice, ground beef and use it sparingly in the mix. Or the eastern european classic of boiled potatos.
All cheaper than dog food i have no doubt.

dog food has the best dollar to protein ratio. nothing is better than it.

because its low grade animal protein made for the digestive system of a dog which is much acidic than ours. It's al off-cuts that you'd never buy at a grocery store. If you really wanted to live cheap you'd by beans+rice+chicken liver since atleast its human grade

yeah but it cant be that bad since it would have been pressure cooked at the factory

Dog food used to be dirt cheap back in the 1980's until the Jews realized poor elderly people on a fixed income were eating it to survive. That's when the shit started costing more than people food. They'd open both ends of the can, push out the contents, slice it into patties, and fry it. Honestly wasn't that bad. I had an elderly neighbor lady feed me one not knowing what it was until my father told me.

Tinned beans: kidney beans, black beans or borlotti beans. Heat in saucepan, add tinned tomatoes. Total cost 85 pence or about A$1.20. you can add spices etc.
Beans have protein, fibre and micro nutrients. Tomatoes contain lycopein. Very healthy, very cheap and very filling. God speed anon.
>>
>>539754811
I miss kangaroo meat. That was very good value about 20 years ago when I last lived in Darwin . It was best with rice or chickpeas. Very filling and the Roo was free-range, lights out with a bullet.

I'm poor. I used to eat a lot of pasta with a tin of soup poured over it. Very cheap and filling, but useless carbs and too much salt.
I switched to beans. Improved mental health. Super cheap. Magnesium, iron, fibre, protein. Super food.
Read the Book of Daniel.
Dog food is meat unfit for humans. Probably contains humans too, jews dispose of child corpses through the pet food and fast food industries.
Christ is King.
>>
>>539755701
Why are you obsessed with less bacteria and more bacteria. Get a better immune system and worry about the ingredients you put in. You think dog food is quality meat? It is ground up garbage, probably contains lead, we would never eat this.
>>
>>539756057
why do I need a better immune system if I can just be more hygienic ?
>>539756003
Have you tried lentils ? Daal Tadka is also very cheap to make.
>>
>>539754811
I pretty much eat slop similiar to this. I buy all my food from aldi.

>huge bag of rice
>canned black beans
>sardines
>hot sauce

That’s just dinner. My breakfast is super simple overnight oats. The oatmeal is super cheap at Aldi, the milk as well.

My overnight oats are super simple and cheap.

>milk
>oatmeal
>frozen mixed berries

That’s it. No extras.

I eat like a peasant because I am but I’m also able to save a ton of money. The only problem is not getting kicked out of my storage unit. My fridge is small enough that I can hold the milk and frozen fruit in there without spoilage. As far as cooking goes, I use a butane stove to cook my rice and I only cook that rice in one pot with water and salt.

The storage unit only charges me around $95 a month. So monthly expenses are under $400 right now (including gym membership for showers).

I know you’ll laugh at me but I’ve been homeless for over 5 years and have saved around 300k (all invested into dividend portfolio for income). This is the way. It’s just easier living like this. Ofcourse I have a minimum wage job that I spend most of my time here but in a few years I can move to Thailand and live off my portfolio.
>>
>>539755319
raw meat can make you sick, our digestive track is similar to other meat-eating scavenger animals, but isnt 1-1. It depends how long the meat is cooked for. You're better off eating Chicken liver for $1/lb that is human grade than eating chicken liver in dog food for $3/lb
>>
>>539756141
>lentils
Yes, any pulses are good for you. More nutritious than rice which is just empty carbs.
Porridge oats are cheap and healthy too. No need for milk. Just simmer in water and add salt or sugar to taste.
You can eat healthily for A$2 a day and swerve the goyslop.

Not all storage units are like that. The storage place I’m at is old school. They know I’m living there and as long as I keep clean and don’t fuck around they let me stay. I also pay more for the most basic unit. Let’s just say it’s a little cramped (but I make it work).

My storage unit is right next to a gym I use for showers and toilet. It’s open 24 hours. This is my dream set up because my job is located a 15 minutes walk away. I have everything I need very close by. It will be hard eventually moving away from this place but I have to settle down eventually and I’m pretty much priced out of my city (country even) so I have to move to Thailand in a few years.

Idk what dog food you have in america but here its not even that cheap for what it is. Its just offal mixed with grain and some other stuff. You can just buy those off cuts yourself cheaper since canning actually isn't that cheap. Just go to a butcher and tell him you have a dog. Sometimes he will even give you bones, and there plenty of good stuff in those if you brake and boil them.

Like if you look at pound for pound protein its barely any better then hot dogs and other cheap human food.
Cat food is slightly better, buts its the same thing there. Its barely cheaper then the cheapest tuna, but it might taste better desu.

Tl;dr its barely and cheaper then cheap human food, because its the same thing.

I forget not everyone here leaves their homes. I hate having to defend hotdogs, but Sven is right. In the US, they really are only meat. Our top 3 brands don't contain anything besides pork or beef, seasoning and spices. B4 you kvetch, I'll suspect you're not a good chemist or familiar with our laws. The link I'm including will allow you to see the ingredients, which the FDA (the strictest food agency on the planet) requires enumerated in such a way that the nitrates and curing salts have to be listed. In your cunt, those ingredients can likely be called "curing salts" or something. On the topic at hand, the US has a tremendous variety of pet foods. with dogs alone, I could spend $25 for 20kg (USD but I'll use metric for you) of food that's mostly eyelids and anuses, but will technically keep your pet alive. Not far down the isle are 20kg bags that are ~$110, and this is still dry kibble. Americans have easy access to canned meals for their dogs, not like your pic rel, but actual grains, veg and offal in a tin or glass jar. Beyond that are fully pre formulated diets of raw refrigerated food that cost $5-$20/day, There are plenty of animal diets in this country that are outside my own price range for food, but that's what variety means.

In a normal, non-overly financialized economy, you would just leave your greedy boss and go work doing the same shit for a new company that just builds everything with money created ex nihilo by a local bank. Your new pay would account for inflation, and you might even get promoted as time goes on.
Alas, that world is over; now mega corporations have monopolies, and the greedy suits that spawned this write laws directly.

Yours certainly have more starch added, but you're being histrionic. There cant be more than 25% of the weight being water, which isn't a lot of water and isn't likely given the ingredients continue on. Adding water to meat shouldn't phase you, unless you suck those tubes down chilled and the water isn't your preferred texture. In your own example, carbs is the smallest source of calories. I'm sure your supermarkets carry sausages that are less water and starch, for your delicate constitution, but this sounds much more like the adult version of your peas and mash touching, resulting in a little melty.
>>539760082
