What do ancaps propose we do about monopoly?

Is monopoly bad? Everyone loves Steam because it's a monopoly. Everyone loved streaming when Netflix before streaming explosion after Covid and Netflix no longer became a monopoly. Your argument assumes in first place all monopolies are intrinsically bad. If we are talking about bad monopolies, then we've to find out why they became monopolies.

>Everyone loves Steam because it's a monopoly
No, they love it because it does not exploit them like how a typical monopoly does. The service would be good if it was not a monopoly.
Companies become monopolies for various reasons, one is indeed providing a better service, but once they become monopoly provider it heavily incentivizes maximum profit seeking because there is no longer the threat of being replaced by a rival. Youtube and Google were good at once point but now are too big to be replaced so have become consistently worse for the sake of further profit.

Lolbergs just deny it happens. They follow the 'law of merited impossibility' rhetoric on the topic because it isn't flattering to their idealism.

They propose we ignore it and pretend it solves itself. It doesn't and ideally, we shouldn't. I think there is multiple times more to gain by not than doing as they suggest.

I mean there's one now:

See here's the Jew'd angle
"Not every monopoly is bad, goy."
Yeah, and that comes with underlying suggestion that "which means we shouldn't ever do anything about bad monopolies goy, not all of them are bad all the time."
Bullshit. The moment Volvo turns sour we should skullfuck this hypothetical furture-gaben so hard that coming inevitable corporate entity is busted open like a muslim rape victim.
Kek there's nothing holy about shitty Valve, we can do whatever we want whenever it is deemed better than the current state of things.

>No, they love it because it does not exploit them like how a typical monopoly does.
And why does it does so?
Simple, because video game selling industry unlike other industry isn't regulated hard. Steam would instantly lose its market as many competitors would rise and suck off their shares if they did.
>The service would be good if it was not a monopoly.
Sure lmao. We saw this happening with streaming.
>Youtube and Google were good at once point but now are too big to be replaced so have become consistently worse for the sake of further profit.
In most such cases, companies stay a monopoly because of regulations that make it hard for competitors to enter. Also your point about Google being a monopoly isn't true anymore as lesser and lesser people 'google' things and just ask AI. Even YouTube being labelled a monopoly is questionable. It can't compete with Tiktok on short form content and Twitch on streaming unless of course when government tries to ban Tiktok.

>which means we shouldn't ever do anything about bad monopolies goy
I never said that. I asked what causes bad monopolies in the first place and why they can't be replaced.
(Hint: In most cases government regulation).

we had massive technological breakthroughs from Bell Labs when "Ma Bell" was a monopoly

You are right on the regulations point, and this is part of why monopolies are bad, because they capture the regulator and make them impose additional barriers to entry. The solution is for the state to have the whip-hand over the corporations, so it needs a way to prevent monopoly. Simply dismantling the state would mean monopolies can just enforce their monopoly directly, without capturing middle man institutions.
On Tiktok and Twitch, Twitch is one of those niche platforms which are allowed to exist simply to prevent the government breaking up an obvious monopoly, they are the Pepsi to Youtubes Coke. Twitch emerged during a period of immense growth in the internet video market unlike today, and the youtube of the time was not yet backed by the Google monopoly.
Tiktok was able to enter the market because it was first able to develop in the semi-closed Chinese market so had the immense capital needed to break into the western market and take the short video niche previously occupied by Vine.
