I know a woman from this town. I asked her about it. She said the man who was arrested was the husband of the woman who made the speech. They are both high school science teachers. The husband clapped after his wife's speech, the city council said it was disruptive, the man was asked to leave and refused. He was then arrested.They were both against the data center being built along with basically everyone who lives in that town. Apparently they tried to sneak the data center building in secretly but people found out about it and were pissed. The land has already been purchased and the concrete foundation has already been poured.She said the data center will most likely be built regardless of what the citizens want because the city politicians are dead set on it. Hopefully they do what they need to do to prevent it from being built.
