Cars should be treated like horses and horse drawn carriages. There can be a couple expressways through the city to go fast in. But on most crowded throughways they should have speed limits of 5-10 mph, so that pedestrians can freely use the streets without being afraid of getting flattened.

Bikes are almost just as bad as cars when it comes to crossing the street. 1000's of bikes whizzing by, you have to wait like 5 minutes to cross sometimes.
