Humanity has no plan for this
The plan used to be colonizing space, but we decided to spend all our money on niggers instead.
>>539785552if organizations like NASA or Roscosmos have a plan for such a scenario, they probably don't make it public.
>>539785668nuke is their best plan.
>>539785668Not only do the have public plans they've already tested them out>NASA DART
And thats a GOOD thing!Ashes to ashesShit to shitWho knew giant space rocks were the savior humanity needed all along?
>>539785552That's ok. Jupiter has our back.
>>539785552Scientology does.
The first real holocaust, jews won't hide from this one.
>>539785730>pushed 2 inches fasteryeah that will work
>>539785552a very small percentage of humanity does, and it appears they're making their finishing preparations for it now.
>>539785552We should probably test nukes on city sized asteroids
>>539785552Big trampoline, easy.
>>539785552After COVID it's become clear that every government is far too corrupt to pull an Armageddon. Very best case is they would use our tax dollars to build a small number of arks for the top 0.1% like in 2012.
>>539785552this would be the most based thing to ever happen if it did
You faggots arent getting out of a lifetime of wagecucking for Israel that easy
>>539785552just send Ben Affleck
why would we need a plan for something that doesnt exist ?Space is fake and gay
>>539785552we are going to mine them thanks to elon musk
>>539785552The plan is in your picture. The plan is to shoot nuclear missile at any asteroids that are likely to hit the Earth. It's not a great plan since they can break up and large pieces still hit the Earth or whatever. But there is a plan.
>>539787216>only move it by 2 inches per day>but you intercept it 3 billion miles from Earthgranted it's dependent on things like Sentry identifying them in time
>>539787862I like how in Arnageddon the asteroid was the size of fucking Texas and they only needed one tiny ass nuke.
>>539785552Just don't look up.
>>539788075Public opinion of nuclear power was very exaggerated in the 90s.
>>539785552Humanity also has no plans for the sun burning out or the heat death of the universe. What do you want to do about it?
>>539788268Very jewish comparison and exactly the kind of argument I expect our government officials to make while siphoning tax dollars to build their 7th vacation home.
NASA had the NNSA, the nuclear bomb stewards, put aside several of the largest thermonuclear bombs when they were being dismantled just for such situations to deflect them with early enough warning. Probably should build some Tsar Bomba class, or larger, nukes for this as well. Maybe even build a gigaton bomb and station it in space just in case, or just a 500MT one - yes I know this sounds like a Gundam plot device if a rogue colony takes it but oh well. This shit is why we need nuclear bombs.
>>539787216thats more than enough to make an asteroid miss the planet by millions of km if you hit it early enough
Apophis comes in april of 2029. Prepare your anuses.
>>539785552I could stop it with my massive dick but I’m actually pro-asteroid.Asteroid for POTUS 2028!
>>539785552controlled nuclear explosions, but that relies on having a long enough warning. just shifting the projectory even a little is enough to make it pass the earth by a large margin.
>>539785552extreme low quality slide thread.astronomy is not politics.this is to waste your time.30 of you fell for it already.knee-jerk niggers, no control.
>>539785552Thank fuckin' god too
>>539785668Keeping plans under wraps until the critical moment would reduce chances of sabotage.
