Someone please break down socialism in a favoring light to me.What. Why, other than "muh inequality". How the fuck can it even be implemented. I'm not talking vague ideas, I mean concrete steps into making socialism something worth putting effort in. How to fund it without taxing the hell out of people. If socialism can even consistently turn over a sustainable profit.

>>539790389it's diet communism.
>>539790389everyone gets free everything because of magic moneythe end
>>539790502Hey the American system
>>539790389You know how the government employs cops, jet pilots and airship carrier captains? They should do that with doctors, cooks and house-builders too. The latter group saves many more American lives every day than the people that get the medals.
The basic idea of socialism is that profit = value stolen from workers. But just ask a socialist if they think a business running at a loss means the workers are stealing value from the owners and you'll quickly discover they don't really have principles, they just want more free shit for themselves.
>>539790389I'll do it for 30k/hr as a consultation feeThat's comparable to flagship LLM costs
There are certain things that are in the interest of the public broadly. Rather than paying for these things individually, if the money is pooled together it can go farther towards achieving the goal.Instead of paying for fire protection, you are taxed a small amount to fund the fire department. In civilized countries instead of paying exorbitant amounts for health insurance the collective country negotiates down drug prices and so they pay less in taxes for healthcare than we do as individuals in America.
>>539790889>The basic idea of socialism is that profit = value stolen from workersThat's a communist theory. Socialism is where the government does something. For example, when a government gives contracts or bails out failing businesses or industry. That's socialism. Just ask Elon Musk.
>>539790389>Why, other than "muh inequality".Thats literally why tho.
>>539790389I'd say like 99.9% of the people saying they're socialists in reality are capitalists that just want less corporate power in the US.Like all these socialists fanboys would back down in an instant when they realize they'd ban Pokemon or some shit in true socialism.
>>539790861Anyone who has been in the military already knows thats a bad idea.
