One got a house in one of wealthiest towns in the United States, another got his felony charges taken care of in exchange for his signing up, a third used to vacation to Dubai, retired in his 30's from being a PMC sniper. Other people I've met made fortunes as logistics brokers supplying US forces. Once you start to look around, you realize that money is fucking everywhere, and a lot of people are banking off it. Other factors such as prices, wages, maintenance, logistics cost, etc, are unaccounted for and they assume that $1 spent by the US has the same impact as in Russia or China.It's the same for things like the GDP, stock market indexes, etc, and it affects not only the US but all its vassal states. All those numbers are nothing but propaganda.
