It does things to us, almost all dates within its cycle does; new moons adn first quarter/last crescent moons do as well. Suddenly, you get aggressive, horny, cravings for chocolate/red meat/poultry. Crime goes up around full moons and you can't just brush that away at the notion of there being more light being present during dark as a reason more of them happen. The moon fucks with us. The days leading into and out of full moons are worse than full/new moon date itself. Then there's that story about those Russians who fired probes at the moon loaded with TNT and the whole damn thing vibrated like a bell for hours, as if it had gyros and stabilzation devices within it. I wish there was a more concerted effort for colonization already. The whole damn thing is ripe for it. FUCK Mars. We need to use the moon as the stepping stone we need to get the fuck out of here. That thing is rich in iron, helium-3, rare earth minerals including that interesting thorium anomaly on the far side.
