I worked at a law firm as an assistant and talked to some of the people locked up for very famous cases in Canada at times. They are just institutionalized people. Pretty low maintenance 80%.The craziest is when they first get caught the phone calls from them and family are relentless. And they'll spill their guts to me even though I try to tell them wait for the Lawyer, bro/sis.Big media cases bring on a lot of crazies, especially during pre-trial or in trial that want to try to insert themselves somehow. I screened those calls for the lead Defender and although I logged all calls and wrote notes, most were followed-up on in some manner by Jr Counsel, but I did help highlight ones who I thought could actually be relevant for them.
