The more I read the bible the more I think Jesus really was a communist
>>
He literally tells you that he's a magician who was employed to get one over on the stupid romans, which he did.

It really is a religion for the mentally disabled who want to be told what to think and what to do.

Jesus was against woke politics and sexual degeneracy and promiscuity which the left pushes

Matt 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
Matt 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Matt 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast [it] from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not [that] thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Matt 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast [it] from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not [that] thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Early Christians were communists. Communism actually works for communities up to Dunbar's Number. This is what tricks people into thinking it works on a larger scale.
>>
He was just very antisemitic
>>
>>539854351
Joining a commune voluntarily and forming a state are not the same thing.
>>
>>539854484
The irony is that communism only works in small christian clans that are racially homogenous.
That's why communism never works because it's literally not possible outside of that.
>>

yep, His disciples were willing to live together and to sell all of their possessions. they weren't threatened by federal goons at gunpoint

Cool. Cool. You do that.

Strange. The more I read the bible the more I think that jesus was just explaining how terrible of a person jacob was and how stealing the earthly inheritance of isaac meant nothing in terms of the blessing of god, and that it was time for the lineage of esau to follow the second half of the inheritance that isaac and god left for them.
>>
I am tired of having to explain that parable.
Needle is a weird translation of the archaic name of the keyhole arch, it meant that a richfag, with all his power and money, could easily fall to temptation and abuse given by those things.
To reach heaven he needed to walk straight and very precisely through life, like a camel through a needle/keyhole arch. It means a very disciplined life, not an impossibility.
>>
>>539854484
Why didn't Jesus say it wouldn't work on a larger scale?

No it means you should give up your wealth. That's what Jesus tells the rich young man; if you want to be as pure in faith as possible, you should hand away your things to the poor and follow Jesus.

Which is exactly what all the apostles did and exactly how millions of priests down the ages have interpreted the statement, which got formalized as the "vow of poverty."

So if you're a Christian and you really believe in Christ, why would you hesitate? This life is temporary anyway, heaven is forever.

It seems to me he's plainly saying being rich damns you to hell. This is consistent with his parables and teachings where a common theme is giving up all of your excess to God/the poor. Jesus thought sitting on any amount of wealth that could help others is a mortal sin. Plain and simple.
>>
>>539855229
>What is the higher purpose?
To teach you how to love virtue and hate evil. Have you never read any theology or philosophy at all? Even pre-Christian philosophers knew that the point of life was to cultivate virtue and turn away from sensuality.

>>539855369
It seems that way to you because you don't understand what love is. Love isn't a passion, it's the absence of passion. You don't love somebody unless you know how to look past your own emotions regarding them. If you can't do that, then every single interaction you will ever have with them will be selfish. Love has to be universal, because love has to be objective. You don't love particular people in Heaven, because in order to even reach Heaven you must already love your neighbor as yourself.
>>
>>539855557

“Eye of a needle” was slang for a gatehouse back then. Driving a stubborn camel through a city gate is a pain in the ass. In other words rich people can get into heaven but it’s more difficult
>>
>>539855569
no, Jesus was saying that materialism will separate you from the God of the spirits, and will lead you to Hell.

1Tim 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
1Tim 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
1Tim 6:7 For we brought nothing into [this] world, [and it is] certain we can carry nothing out.
1Tim 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
1Tim 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
1Tim 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1Tim 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Not on this issue. Jesus wasn't "neutral" at all, a fact he states plainly when he says he came to turn a son against his father. Jesus was a radical doomsday cultist who advocated entering poverty on purpose, told his followers not to prepare for tomorrow (Matthew 6:19-34, Luke 12:22-24) and said that nobody then alive would die without seeing the kingdom arrive on Earth (they all did), because he was sure the end times were at hand. If you heard this kind of thing in modernity you would call that person a crazy cult leader, which is what he was.

The "communism" argument has always been weak since, number 1, communism was 18 centuries in the future at that point, but more importantly 2, Jesus isn't advocating communism. He's not saying that everyone should work together as a group and share, he's saying throw away all your earthly attachments to make yourself ready for the "kingdom of heaven," whatever that means, and even if nobody returns the favor. So communism is in fact far more realistic and practical than what Jesus tells people to do. Marx, as dumb as he was, was smarter than this guy.

And if you think that sounds crazy, glad we agree. If you're not living that way, you're of at least reasonable intelligence and strength of mind, but you're also not a Christian, since you disagree on the fundamentals that Jesus himself sets out about how to live a good life.

That's barely a fraction of what I've read, I was just offering names off the top of my head. A universal message that spans from 2,400 years before Christ to 1,700 years after Christ is far from narrow or cherrypicked. Even Ptah-Hotep taught that the cultivation of love was the purpose of life, and that a man wasn't a man until he learned to ignore his belly.

None of those men are philosophers. They spent their lives attacking philosophy. All of them leveled attacks on reason and insisted that reason wasn't a sufficient tool for coming into certain knowledge. That kind of deconstruction refutes itself and leads nowhere, because the proposition that there's no certain knowledge is itself a claim of having certain knowledge. Kant, Descartes and especially Nietzsche were not only unwise, but they were hostile to wisdom.

Not in the sense that you're thinking.
Jesus' ministry is pointing at a return to an Edennic like state.
In Eden, there was no scarcity, God provided for all needs.
When sin and death hit the world, part of the curse God subjected the world to is scarcity and toil.

Genesis 3:
>17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
>18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
>19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
When Jesus sent out missionaries He told them not to bring anything no provisions, no money, He would provide for them. When Jesus was talking about leaving again in the upper room discourse, He asked His disciples when they were on the road, did they lack anything? They said No Lord. He then told them, because He was going to leave, they would have to carry provisions now, and buy a sword, fend for themselves.
Does God provide now? Sometimes, but it's the exception not the rule, the rule right now is "by the sweat of your brow will you eat bread"
When Jesus returns, when we have a new Heavens and new Earth, God will provide like Eden. No scarcity.

Revelation 21
>5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
>6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
>7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

So communist in the sense of a post scarcity world.... that is not now.

No one ever pushed them, they were buried if anything. Nobody is taught Plotinus or Proclus or Porphyry in a college setting. You have to go out on your own to learn about them. The authors that you mentioned, Kant, Nietzche and Descartes, as well as Hume and Hegel, were all artificially pushed. They were raised from the dead and forced into academia and treated as the baseline despite being failures in their lifetimes, all for the sake of fostering the idea that reality is subjective and that there is no such thing as truth. If you want to raise complaints about "narrow and cherrypicked" and "pushed while others are ignored", raise it at your own selection of sophists.

None of those men burnt down a single library which is much more than we can say for the early Christians, who hated knowledge with a feverish passion. The idea that their nuanced critiques of the limits of reason come anywhere close to the blunt, dull hatred of knowledge and thought of all types that Christians exhibited is a vicious lie.

Every Christian writer from Christ's death onwards makes continual references to the Greek philosophers and holds them up as a high standard of wisdom and virtue. No one's going to buy the lie you're selling if so long as they've read a single Christian scholar.

Sophists like Kant and Nietzsche, on the other hand, actively attempted to poison the well and destroy wisdom for future generations to come. The damage they've done to the world far exceeds anything prior in history.

>Jesus really was
A "lēstēs" -- a pederast; his "Apostles" were twinks / boys, whose jizz he would drink to "titrate" the snake venom that was thought to "throttle" the intensity of said serpentine drug that was the high of choice in a pre-scientific era. He was put to death because his boy-loving was so blatant that it was seen as too much to bare--even for a society that tuned a blind eye to sex with children. This comports not only with a literal translation of the Septuagint, as well as with the church being a millennia-old faggots' fraternity and diddler den.

>The more I read the bible the more I think Jesus really was a communist
He was a religious anarcho-communist. Something akin to the Amish. As >>539854484 points out, it works up to Dunbar's number because that's how many people can actually cooperate together voluntarily without the need for hierarchical structures of authority(IE government). Jesus was killed because he was telling people to resist the authority of the Pharisees and the Romans.

Which is the reason Christians were oppressed and murdered until Saul came along and promised that Christians would obey the government(see Romans 13).

One of many such incidents. Whichever were "neoplatonists," they were well outnumbered by the ones who demanded ignorance and saw demons in all the knowledge the Romans had accumulated.

The same anti-knowledge madness walks our streets today, it just hangs a rainbow flag outside the church along with the cross.

>Why didn't Jesus say it wouldn't work on a larger scale?
Because it didn't need to be said. Up until capitalism, pretty much every society was a bunch of Dunbar's number villages ruled by distant hereditary monarchies who largely allowed the villages to regulate themselves. The only real interaction most peasants had with "the state" was having to pay over a portion of their production as taxes.

I'm sure you've heard "Give unto Caesar". The background of that story is that the Pharisees were trying to get Jesus in trouble with the Romans. They asked Jesus if his followers should pay their taxes. Instead of simply answering "Yes" or "No", he evades the question by talking about who owns the money. In short, if you're holding Caesar's money, and he wants it back, give it to him, but that doesn't mean you have to use Caesar's money.

With that said, what Jesus was preaching was kind of like the Amish if the Amish didn't pay taxes and didn't have the US military to protect them. It's not simply impractical on the large scale, it's impractical, period, because it cannot defend itself.

Which is why modern Christianity is a complete bastardization of Christianity.

communism is jewish
christianity is jewish
both are aimed towards gentiles, and not actually meant for jews. jews already have their shit figured out, basically its just a pajeet caste system.

mao did famously call christianity proto-communist, and its because of the jewish similarities. essentially theyre both trying to handicap you, so jews can seize power. thats all they were about. communism in many ways is just christianity without the magic jew. it was an experiment, and the cold war was a stress test between the two competing systems to see who would wageslave their lives away for jewish interests the most. and communism lost. so they circled back to christian capitalism. in both scenarios jews already have power, so its merely about productivity and longetivity. jews always put the long term above the short term. theyre gearing for global permenant enslavement. which is what ai and drones are about. theyre to replace the useful idiot christcuck-communists

it's not a Greek dualist thing of material vs spiritual.

It's a this age, and an age to come.
it's this Material Earth, and the New Material Earth that will be made.
Jesus didn't teach some mystical spiritual ghost world Jesus taught the resurrection and the restoration of all things, the Kingdom of Heaven. When the New Earth is made and God Dwells with man on Earth.
It's a real, material place and we will be in real, material bodies with a real, material Jesus. People will build houses, and plant vineyards, and you'll enjoy the fruit of your own work, and not have to work for anyone else, a place where God hears your prayers and answers while you're still speaking.
Unlike this cursed world where you can pray and it doesn't get answered

That is what the prophets, the Messiah, and the Apostles taught, it is what is in the bible.
Gnosticism and Greek Dualism crept into the Church and led it awry. Jesus and the Apostles sometimes used the language of Greek Dualism, since it was the common theology of His day, and by the 4th century AD, Greek Dualism fully wedded Christian Theology and led into hyperspiritualized interpretations turning the New Earth into now and having us die and go to heaven forever as spirits .

A lot of people like to say Christians were socialist. But the early Christians were told by Jesus that the end was near, that they would see the tribulations he spoke of in their generation, and they would be severely prosecuted. In that mindset, they pooled their resources as a kind of resistance to help each other out as they lost jobs, family members and friends. Only the near future mattered, and they were tasked with spreading his message.

(Matthew 20:1-16)
1For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

>could easily fall to temptation and abuse given
In ancient times the only way to become rich was through abuse, by enslaving others. In modern times its less so, as sometimes talented people can develop useful new technologies that can be copies by others, in this sense having a positive impact way beyond that of a common worker, i.e, the inventor of the steam engine or of antibiotics.
None of that existed in the ancient world, so anyone rich had to have slaves.
Until the 19th century basically anyone wealthy was a criminal of some sort, often military. A knight was the towns rapist btw.

The 'Profit' arrow feeds the leaders directly from Accumulated Capital, completely isolating the workforce from the return. You are charting a system where capital generates profit on its own, which contradicts the very theory of surplus value you are attempting to critique. You missed a class on process flows.

>The arrow of absurdity ("Orders"): The thick arrow running from "leaders" to "followers" points downward, suggesting oppression or a flow of orders. But the arrow returning "accumulated capital" to the leaders points upward... directly from the capital block! That means the money magically teleports to the boss without the followers playing a part in that final step.

>The infinite loop of exploitation: According to the arrows, "followers" generate "surplus" and "subsistence" that flow toward capital. If they channel both toward capital, what do the followers live on? Photosynthesis?

>Pretentious redundancy: At the bottom, it reads "Universal political flowchart." Labeling a drawing made in Paint with three boxes as "universal" is the height of arrogance.

>It completely ignores the problem of dispersed knowledge (Friedrich Hayek’s famous dilemma).
>Millions of people make unpredictable decisions every second based on their needs, preferences, and local contexts. To think that an elite can anticipate and dictate all of this through "orders" is incredibly naive.
>The speed of information: Markets move in microseconds, driven by algorithms, fluctuations in supply and demand, geopolitics, and technology. No group of human beings—no matter how wealthy or powerful—possesses the mental processing speed or logistical capacity to micromanage a global ecosystem. If they did, there would be no bankruptcies, financial crises, or unexpected inflation; the elite would simply "adjust the flow" at will.
>Improvisation vs. Planning: The chart assumes that capitalism is a perfectly coordinated, top-down conspiracy. In reality, elites spend most of their time reacting to chaos to keep status quo, adapting to innovations emerging from below(aka hijacking innovation), and competing against one another.
