The problem is that those companies are going balls deep, investing tens of billions on infrastructure that, so far, hasn't been proven to be needed. They'll never make back those investments. The US in particular is getting almost 1000 datacenters this past couple years and nobody knows what most of them are for, despite their massive demands power, hardware and even fucking water.
