In the coming days, Hungary’s only nuclear power plant will be shut down completely. Cooling is impossible because the water level in the Danube is so low that they cannot cool the reactors. Meanwhile, due to the heat wave, in my parents’ town, for example, water is already being delivered by tanker trucks, there are complete water restrictions.bAgriculture is suffering due to the drought. Prices for everything are going to go up. An explosion recently occurred at the country’s largest and most important oil refinery, so it is currently operating at reduced capacity.
All in all, Hungary, a tiny landlocked country with no natural resources, could find itself on the brink of total collapse within a few days, or at most a week.

>Hungary’s only nuclear power plant will be shut down completely. Cooling is impossible because the water level in the Danube is so low that they cannot cool the reactors
but everybody is telling us that reactors are the super-duper-brilliant way to produce electricity.
So why do all those reactors that need water from rivers have to get shut down each and every fucking summer?

Iran's drought broke when they chased away all the American radar installations.

Just an observation.

there are no radars or any US military assets in -stans

>Chose the cheapest option to cool it
They could have built cooling towers, but that would've cost more.
There's going to be issues with any kind of energy production if you cheap out already in the construction phase.

There's something satanic about landlocked countries eg. Belarus and Hungary - it makes me believe they don't deserve independence and I don't know why I think that way. I just do.
>>
>>539872319
Cause commies were too stupid to built dedicated damns for the powerplants.
>>
>We cannot cool our nuwkes!!! Halp!!!
Just let it overheat, meltdown and explode chernobyl stylo, hopefully the radiation clouds will travel west and kill westoid faggots.

Have they tried blaming Orban while sending their resources to the EU and letting in more migrants to live off welfare?
>>
>>539872319
in summer you can use solar

You’re overreacting about the energy and water part.
Anyway, get a metal detector and start browsing the bottom of the Danube, see what pieces of history you can find. It’s prime time for amateur archaeology. Try to make the most of the drought.

We should've updated our agriculture years ago, but FIDESZ was too fucked with fucking kids and other men to make that happen. RIP

And there are American bases across the gulf. The graphic is cope and not reality.

The oil pipeline from Russia has been pumping oil into Hungary like crazy. Russia oil pipelune revinue is way up.
Think Hungary was expecting this all along and the globohomo faggot media hid this fact.

You guys really deserve it. You did nothing with your independence and 99.9% of you losers were miserable to begin with. I visited Budapest and got the fuck out of that country and went to Romania instead. Romanians are the opposite of Hungarians. They are kind, beautiful, and have an awesome history of getting raped and still finding the positives from it all. Now there gibbing off the EU like chads.

Be more like Romania.

Betcha there'll be people saying it wouldn't have happened under Orban.
>>
>>539872319
You could build big towers and reservoirs but that'd be useful and they clearly didn't want that.
>>

Do you think they'll go:
>"We should build a system that lets us operate our cooling system even in periods of warm weather."
and learn from this experience?
>>
>>539877595
I think they'll go
>"We should diversify our supplies by ordering miles and miles of solar panels from this coincidental acquaintance of ours who has noooo interest in drought at all pinky swear"
and pretend that this isn't corrupt.
