Has there been any art made in the past 50 years or so that's actually somewhat timeless?Like i dislike people who just want to return to an empty form of a previous aesthetic (in a Spenglerian sense), but i also think there's nothing creative left.Even if all AI art were banned, does art really have a future?

Games and online video are the only art form worth engaging with in 2026. The only spaces where new ideas are coming from.If you want to read a good book or watch a good film, there is no reason to consume something from the 2020's when you could go enjoy something old.Games like elden ring and outer wilds are the next step in art and exceed anything done in any other medium in this decade.
