Communist regimes are not immune from corruption. There is a big difference between corruption and privatization which is making corruption official and mandated. The state under pure monarchy is owned by one man. The state under constitutional monarchy of old is owned by the aristocracy jointly with the monarch. The republic of old has the state owned just by the aristocracy. Capitalist democracy is the state owned by the bourgeoisie (middle class, wealthy people who are not aristocrats). Socialism is the state owned by the working class. Can there be corruption and embezzlement? Sure, and even within private corporations and banks this happens, but people embezzling from a bank is no where near the level of the bank being privately owned and printing money to lend to the government at interest that the working class has to repay in order to foot the bill for wars to benefit the finance class
