As you should know women can only pair bond with one man at a time so if a mother were to have sex with her son she would end up leaving her husband for him. I have read stories of that happening. Are there circumstances where it is acceptable if not healthy? I believe so - such as for single mothers who are in need of sex. If you are a grown ass man living with your mother and you are both in need of sex then I would not see much of a reason for the both of you not to fuck. That is at the very least understandable and I would not shame anybody for that. It would still make you codependent on her but yet again there would be no family unit to subvert at that point. We all have the right to live our lives as we see fit. If you want to settle down with your mother, sister or cousins then that is your right but propagandizing it is a different thing. It's legal in muslim countries and you see the long term side effects there but that's because they've engaged in cousin relationships for so many generations. In the west the laws aren't really needed, instead they're going further by starting to crack down on things like incest roleplay and fiction. There's no logic behind it.
