Tea is the only healthy stimulant beverage. You can select from a huge variety of teas, it's pretty inexpensive especially if you use quite a bit of leaf, brew just long enough for a good liquor, and then pour off into a second pot and stop the steeping, you can get 3-10+ steeps from a good tea. I grow and process my own teas as well, I have about ten bushes of a variety of types and I can collect about a half pound of tea twice a week. My tea is exquisite and much better than many top teas, most tea tastes like dust and tree chunks after you grow and process your own. I also collect puerh tea and have about a hundred pounds of it all aged, some of it's a century old.Coffee is OK sometimes, but I probably do it twice a month max. I drink tea every day.

As a seasoned puerh enjoyer and collector, I will warn any puerh drinkers - you should probably stop buying cooked puerh, because a lot of it is wet-aged in places like Singapore and Taiwan, especially older stuff. Only buy new puerh tea unless you personally know and trust your buyer, I mean in real life you are friends and chill out together in person. I bought mine from a dude I met at the tea shop who turned out to be the biggest US collector of puerh ever, and he died and I bought a few things from his estate on eBay. BUT before that he told me the real scoop on buying puerh and the trick is never to buy cooked at all! Always green puerh. It has camphor but if you give it like 10-20 years the smell goes away and it will slowly turn brown then black over a few more decades. Just buy reputable green puerh every year, lay it back, it's still only like $18-25 per standard "red and yellow" ISO-9001 certified puerh right from the Chinese government owned plantations. The secret is how to age it, I use a nice neutral no-smell wooden chest with frequent airing, with no added humidity of any kind ever.
