RAM is being built but it has been pre-allocated to go to data centers instead of the consumer market that's why there is a perceived shortage. The amount of RAM being made is still the same if not higher.


It's just that the manufacturer can make more money selling to a large corporation than individual consumers. I thought you guys were pro capitalism?

Additionally, this is a double benefit because after the abrupt spike of AI demand dies down, they can settle the prices 20 to 30% higher in the consumer market and the consumer will still think it's cheaper over the next 2 to 3 years

Like you actually have to load the PCBs on the CNC and routing machines by hand. Even the SMT machine you have to manually load some of the components and boards by hand. Its not fucking done by robots. Most of this shit is just grueling soulless physical labor.
