Obviously i'm not implying that there is a large amount of other tools that are very important to modern war like satellite intel and logistic capabilities.

But Drones seems to bring everybody to the same power level of fighting mostly since ground invasion became a nightmare.

So ultimately "First Word Countries" had spent trillions and more trillions during all these years to... nothing?
>>

Yeah you don't really get it do you?, USA can mass produce millions of cheap drones too, and Iran has almost no air defense, so it's a matter of decision, a year from now Iran might be in the same situation as Russia of eating shit

>>
>>539912185
well if both sides can produce millions of cheap drones that changes nothing because the defender side still could last the war for literally generations to come in this rate.

USA is the Russia of this scenario not the other way around.

they figured out missile defense was a losing game in the 50s hence why after 1 refinery got hit the war immediately paused for months

If you can write system level code for drones (universally), yes all things are currently equal.
>>
I would like to Add like always that normies and overall terminologies in society in all fields even in the military are retarded.

People say ASYMMETRIC WARFARE.
Like: "Look at my playstyle dude i'm asymmetric as fuck"

This is pure retardation because All Wars are Asymmetric by default. Political and Economic variables are always in the middle since Rome.
Chaos is Asymmetric by definition and War is Chaos.

Are people just dumb and love fancy names too look cool and maybe less dumb?

Just need one micro nova, which is guaranteed to happen within the next year or two at most, and 100% of all electronics, (((drones))) included, shall cease to exist.

>DRONES - Is there a cheap way
What kind of drones?
Some have a wingspan of 30 feet.
Do you mean quad copter drones?
They are limited by the size of their power source and the weight of the explosive paylode.
That's why 90% of the clips you see are 1 drone on one target soldier, or 1 vehicle.
But no if you are caught in the open or cornered, there is not split second defense.
>>

That's where you're wrong.

Oh yeah, and I forgot to add, if Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapon by that time, they deserve what's coming to them. They should be speedrunning a nuke.

Lol, like man puts magnets in finger tip, figures out a couple of algorithms to balance the programming around, and he's basically a living God in the USA if he can tap venture capital, in almost any way.
>>
>>539912032
The only hope for the big dogs is if their AI becomes adept enough that it can mass produce and control counter-drones autonomously but they still have the problem that flying a drone into a drone is much harder than flying a drone into a big stationary target and the resolution and scope that they can actually WATCH the sky is always the #1 thing holding the defender back.
>>
>>539912032
>So ultimately "First Word Countries" had spent trillions and more trillions during all these years to... nothing?
Indeed, but to be fair at least 85% of that was embezzled.
>>
>>539912032
Why not just make cheap, smaller, fast drones that can be released from a pack 2 at a time with PETN explosives? AI controlled to target other drones. It's not like the drones are moving very fast... not that I want Slaughterbots to become a reality. Really, it was only a matter of time.
>>
>>539913062
What' the point of making it AI controlled, slow taregts are easy to track
>>
>>539912554
Right?
The only thing that could counter in my civilian mind would be robots that could tank drone explosions. But that's seems so far away right now even with AI on the corner. Even like this example model is quite exposed.

>>539913062
Also this. Drones can get even better versions or variants for each purpose.

>>539912707
Sure, they can't fly not 1% as much far as the most mediocre fighter jet. Still they are reaching at Russia capital since they are easy to carry around.
>>
>>539913150
>What' the point of making it AI controlled
I was imagining a small tube or something on the side of the backpack. The soldier could release them as he moves and let them do the targeting. Like a worst case scenario of being chased down by a drone. All it would need to do is make contact. Broken propeller would disable it. Or a hit to the body might cause the drone's explosives to go off or break the circuitry.
>>
>>539912032
>since ground invasion became a nightmare
When have they not? its always the wealthy people in power pushing innocent men into a bloody war
>>
>>539913800
We already have decades worth of targeting system designs though. Doesn't even have to be on the kill vehicle at those ranges

The DSA will do nothing about US Israel relations except import milliins of illegals and expect the taxpayer to pay for their existence while being victimized by them. That's about it since they're going to have in their bureaucracy even worse leeches than the illegals, do nothing government employees and cronies not delivering pie in the sky projects. They'll be building your walkable cities for decades and you'll be lucky if you get to see it.

i mean, tanks with that kind of system in it could really make the difference in a ground invasion.
still, my best advice from everything that i have learned is to leave Iran and stop this.

Boots on the ground would be ugly as fuck for whoever land in there. Not recommended.

hopefully the military have strong ppl in it with balls to stop this madness.
China is playing to avoid conflict while USA is doing everything to pull the world in to War.

They use drones with 40km of fiberoptic cable on a spool now anon. theres no signal to jam in that case.

>Line the border with thousands of cheap solar-powered ground camera stations that are connected in a mesh network
>Have the ground stations perform multi-view object tracking on flying objects and run small embedded neural nets to distinguish between birds vs. shaheds or FPV drones
>Also populate the border with thousands of small docking stations for counter-drone quadcopters
>Said counter-drone quads will stay charged up at their stations and wait till they receive an automated kill request from the MVoT network
>Integrate basic AI navigation towards the moving target using its last known location and heading
>Once within range (~50 meters or so,) use basic computer vision and the drone's own orientation control to aim its payload at the target
>Each counter-drone will have one or two small 12-gauge single shot shotgun which the on-board computer will fire
>If a target is deemed likely to need more than one shot, then send up multiple cheap counter-drones for it
>Each counter-drone then returns to its docking station and lands, where its shotgun shell can be reloaded using a simple robotic arm running a VLA model or some other mechanically simple mechanism that draws from a box of shells

A setup like this would be easy to scale since it minimizes the amount of distinct manufacturing lines, and each docking station/counter-drone/camera station can operate independently off of solar power which makes it immune to focused strikes. It also makes the logistics and supply chain management of such a system very simple, and these stations could even be deployed and resupplied with ammunition autonomously using large heavy-lift drones from dozens of miles behind the front.

It would also flip the economics of the drone war back towards the defenders side, as the defender only needs a shotgun shell to take out each drone.

The best part is that a system like this isn't even complicated to make by MIC standards. Every part exists and could be developed and scaled in <1yr.

Nope. Walking robots are slow, get stuck and tip over too easily. They would be even easier for drones to disable than tanks. The Counter Swarm of drones is the best defense. This new drone and missile saturated battlefield is something your average old timer won't understand anymore than your average social reject wonders why you can't just make Mechs like in the game. Do a mind numbing read on how energy is measured and delivered in the third dimension.

Chud seal of approval just make the ground stations mobile or capable of burrowing or somehow mitigating cheap indirect fire/bomb counters
Dispersed detection, rearm & refit stations that can move, hide and exploit cover sounds good

It might not actually be worth hardening the ground stations if you can make them cheap enough and the counter-drones reliable enough. It would all depend on how much it costs on average to penetrate this system's defenses with a single FPV and successfully take out a station.

If the enemy was using standard fibre-optic FPV drones with a small explosive payload, then each shot they have would be about ~$1,000-2,500. If it takes, say, five attempts to get through the defenses on average, then each ground station would have to cost under $10,000 to achieve cost-parity. That probably isn't realistic, but if you improve the system to where it takes 50 attempts to destroy a ground station, then cost-parity is achieved at ~$100,000 per ground station, which would be very doable. And the probability of a successful interception would mostly be a software problem, so it can be iterated upon extremely quickly. Every time the enemy sends out another drone can be a beta-test of the next version of interceptor software, as well as another entry into your dataset for improving the system.

But yeah, actually, your idea of integrating the ground station into an unmanned ground vehicle actually makes a ton of sense. That way, they can just change their coordinates from time to time so that the enemy can't actually plan around them. And you avoid the need for cargo drones to deploy and resupply them. Nice. We should get some seed money lol

The camera stations wouldn't have to be armored because they could be made incredibly cheaply. They would be similar to Flock cameras, each of which costs <$500 to produce, so there would be no real need to defend them. Just spam 100,000 of them onto the front and as long as the enemy isn't able to take all of them down at once, they have no hope of disabling the MVoT mesh network, so they won't even try.

I know how to do it. But the information isn't free. If the government wants it, they have to hire me
>>
>>539912185
The USA could, but they won’t because they’re don’t have a real industry anymore
They get all their money by speculating and providing overpriced services
