I was about to post I don't get how just the username was enough to convict him when none of the other evidence could possibly match because it's not him, but then I remembered that most people don't have proper lawyers who understand how to mount a defense at all, so they get railroaded. The associated IP should have been enough to prove it's not him. But IPs are just for convicting people, not exonerating them I guess.
