Algeria never won the war against France, we won easily, but then we faced a huge problem, we couldn t keep them as a colony, especially giving them lesser rights than french colons or even worse dirty algerian kikes. The alternative was letting them all become french citizen and come to France, so nope. Everyone there flee to France, fearing to be left behind and strip off the french citizenship for an algerian one. Lot of shitskins also flee to France, lot of them helped by french military. They end up parked in brand new social housing they trashed and turned into violant ghetto, they also started to came up with that parallel reality where Algeria won the war and them being some kind of warriors, vegeta level of proud warriors. So then their shitty country turned into an oil exporter, oil and gas discovered by the french, like everything in their country. France gave them the sahara who was never part of Algeria who is a made up country. Morocco is far different, it wasn t a colony, the Sultan was still suppose to be the head of the empire, they had borders, traditions, it was a real country and not some pirate hellhole who used to attack christian ships in the mediterranean sea to snatch white women.
