Lets take a typical 90% white european country. 45% of the population is capable of war and honor. 20% are in a position to care or understand war and honor. So 1/5 will vote for someone who says "we have to fight these foreigners to prevent them from taking over our society." Those are not good odds. In the USA we are much less white so let's say it's 5% are willing to defend their people.
