>>539976182No, the Yen is used as a source for 0% interest rate loans, if the Yen continues to lose value then the BoJ has to raise interest rates, if it happens then the banking system of America goes bust because investors must liquidate American assets to buy Yen and pay the loans.For example investor take a 0% loan on the Yen then buy american treasury bonds that pay higher interest rates, its easy money and with little risk, but if the BoJ raises the interest rate then that difference to the treasury bonds is no longer enough so investors must liquidate those treasury bonds, the dump in turn makes American debt more expensive.So its better to kill the euro to sustain the japanese carry trade.
