How many times have people voted against immigration and gay ideology, and it keeps coming down the pike?Democracy is just manufactured consent. It's about convincing the population to accept the government without contraversy or rebellion. It used to be the divine right of kings, now it's ""democracy"" (aka manufacutred consent). The entire purpose of democracy is to gain buy in and ensure all disagreements are funneled into the system where they will be slowly and safely diffused. The system just does what it wants while you fight your imaginary battle, and if you whine enough they might even throw you a bone or two just to shut you up.
