I visited one in Flagstaff and it was actually pretty nice. Nice wide interior hallways, decent layouts on the apartments, plenty of elevators and stairs and it was built surrounding a big parking garage so everyone could park their car. There was also a grocery store and shopping center attached to the complex.The only problem was that, being next to the university, it was overpriced because of students. But leaving location out of it a modern 5 over 1 is fantastic.Ultimately I moved out south of Las Vegas in an older style condo/apartment complex (gated) where it's cheap and there's no natural disasters to worry about, but still close enough to things to do and an international airport. On the contrary, there are no good corporate landlords. They are all the same. They hire the cheapest contractors possible, throw up the same slop buildings with the same shitty "amenities", sell all your personal data when you apply, hire the same dumb bimbos in the leasing office, jew you on every little expense/utility/fees while you live there, and then you jew you again when you move out. >>539981699The block itself is one thing but the main issue is that they never scale infrastructure around them. You have slow boulevard and intersection that used to accommodate 1000 cars a day to suddenly 8000. It creates traffic jams and make everything cramped and hostile.

The places I stayed all made sense because the places to go were all within walking distance but I have seen these complexes in NoVA outside the range of the trains which just contributed to freeway traffic like crazy for basically no reason. It should have been a no brainer to make the developers also chip in for expanding rail lines.
