The idea that housing is unaffordable is purely the result of people growing up and thinking they are middle class because their working class parents got lucky and bought a house in a place that gentrified.

There is plenty of cheap property in working class areas. Get a job. Live among your fellow poors. Its not expensive.

I know poor people are scary but its time to face facts. You are a poor people.

I dare you to say that at the pub you wanker.

as I tell all losers who screech about prices.. just get skills, get a better job. Stop whining and get out there and make it happen!

I had not considered this. My country is still kind of a special case, but in most of the west everyone would rather live with rich browns in the city than with poor rural whites.

Not in working class areas, more like in ghost towns. Very common in England. Whats interesting is that such towns are well connected by rail and road.

No you are simply wrong here. House‑price‑to‑income ratios even in poor areas are now several times higher than they were in past decades. It wasn't about luck that your parents had a nice house housing is less affordable now. All of this change is largely driven by immigration of course.

All rent is theft. Landlord pig clans should be hanging from lampposts.

Average Australian male weekly earnings in 1990 = $555
Average Australian house price in 1990 = $184,600

Average Australian male weekly earnings in 2026 = $2,347
Average Australian house price in 2026 = $1,111,000

Don't even get started on the size of the houses. Everything is a straight downgrade.

Maybe the idea of moving out and taking out a loan you cannot afford in less than 30 years is exactly what the system wants you to do and you should do the opposite (fuck your gf in living room of your parents and beat the shit out of your father if he does anything but watch).

You can't have a growing population without an increase in homes, and you need a growing population.

15+ kid families used to live in one house but now you apparently cannot move your wife into your parents house o algo

>working class areas
Those are filled with nonwhites, every White or Asian (the only acceptable form of nonwhite) neighbourhood is essentially unaffordable, if we lived in an ethno state, I would have no problems living in the cheapest shithole district, since around Whites the chances of getting robbed or randomly killed is so low, it's essentially statistically insignificant.
Even around Asians, Düsseldorf has the largest population of Asians in Europe in one city, yet their crime rates per capita are non-existent, we had one instance 20 years ago of the triads shooting down some restaurant in the middle of nowhere, that was it.

You don't need a growing population. There's plenty of economic studies to show that you don't.
Nearly all population growth in western nations including Australia is driven by immigration because there is little to no natural population growth. Therefore nearly all the growth in house prices is due to immigration.
And what does that immigration do? Lowers average IQ - the biggest determinant of national income. It lowers trust in society another determinant to economic success.
Also increasing population density is correlated with higher rates of mental illness, higher rates of suicide, etc.
All of this is driving decline of western nations which seems inevitable now and a lot that impetus has come from neo-liberals and free market supporters making the same arguments you are i.e., "muh gdp". And in the end we'll lose everything our ancestors built and become just more third world nations.

And that’s why Düsseldorf must be nuked. Not enough crime.
