But "Science is cool" was just one aspect of it. The other aspect of it was that the internet allows you to learn about new things. You don't have to sit there arguing about politics or sports, you can learn about basically anything you want to.The difference between the current internet and the old one was that the old internet had people saying that certain ideas were interesting or worth exploring. What replaced that was just this noise about politics.
