If you specialize in something and actually have some sort of skill you are also in no danger of being replaced in this field either. You get these dumbass zoomers who do the absolute bare minimum, never do any internships, never network with anyone, never specialize in anything, and they end up shocked that nobody is hiring them in a sea of people much more qualified than them. You can't traipse straight into an $80k/yr bullshit codemonkey job during your second year of uni anymore, but it's not hard at all to get hired for something with similar pay provided you actually stand out and can do things that jeets/AI can't. There are always going to be positions that can absolutely never be jeeted/automated because they require actual skill and competent oversight. People just haven't adapted to what has happened and act like it's still 2017.
