There is no housing crisis. I live in this cabin and it only cost me $10000
>>
>>540024270
What if a bear tries to invade that cabin? Do have any way to protect yourself?
>>
honestly now with starlink i wouldnt mind living in some shitshack in a forest, the only question is how do you get electricity
>>
discard the alu cookware
>>
>>540024270
Pics with timestamp.
>>
>>540024270
Damn that's a fancy cabin
>>
>>540024270
I envy you brother, I live in a storage container and pay around $90 a month for it. I do have a job nearby my domicile so it works out and my expenses are low but still….i envy your freedom.
>>
>>540024270
How hard did Henry break your bussy?
>>
It that legal in Norway? Sure as fuck isn't here.
>>

I think a bear already did Anon
>>
>>540024270
let me guess... you need more
>>
>>540024270
that isnt a cabin, its where dreams go to die before they are even born
>>
>>540024270
you are not allowed to live this way here
>>
>>540024633
you're 10 years behind anon, DIY solar + LFP / sodium-ion batteries have been readily available for a loong time now

>>540024270
that's ghetto as hell but hey it's something at least
>>
>>540024633
Starlink is $150 a month for the top tier, with unlimited data roaming

A power system for offgrid is a one time rough cost of $2000-3000 for a really good solar+battery etc setup. That is IT for costs now in 2026. its just a big upfront cost, then free power indefinitely, with the only drawback going out to clear snow off solar panels every now and then

How do i know this? I live in a cabin in the middle of the forest too :)
>>
>>540024886
You cant live in a cabin in Canada?
>>
So apparently that camp is selling for around 700K USD.
Probably comes with a lot of land.
>>
>>540024270
> lives in a cabin
>there’s no housing crisis.

I mean,…
>>
Yeah, but not in close proximity to a city with actual jobs, hospitals and any and all activities one needs or wants to partake in.
I don't want to get a house in the village if I have to commute an hour or two to work each way or to do anything social or whatever else. And God forbid anything happens to me I'd be dead before the ambulance arrives.

It's fine if you're antisocial and work remote, plenty of places are available cheaply.
>>
>>540025005
>DIY solar + LFP
not plausible in my or any northern shithole where theres no sun for half the year
>>
>>540025091
thats Krone not dollars
>>
Looks so cozy anon.

I'd love spending time there.
>>

Question: are gangstalkers able to toggle your phone to be able to notify you of calls/texts? And remotely control what pops up?
>>
>>540025078
i just checked and its 175$, pretty expensive for eastern europe
do you really get enough sunlight for solar in sweden?
>>
>>540024270
More pics please anon
>>
>>540025183
He's already converted it dumbass

That is a nice place. It really looks like most public cabins here in scandinavia, which is why I came in the thread to call out OP because its clearly not a private one

(look how much wear there is on the chairs and things, thats what the public cabins look like
>>
>Following Kaczynski's sentencing to life without parole, he gifted his cabin to Scharlette Holdman, an anti-death penalty activist and mitigation specialist who played a role in preventing him from receiving the death penalty. The U.S. government refused to allow Holdman to keep the shack.[156]

>Doesn't even live in the US
>Feels the need to make a statement anyways.
>>
>>540025408
Here ya go.
>>
>>540025405
Yeah the top tier is relatively expensive, but it provides 10/10 internet I can game on with relatively low ping so idgaf, its one of my only luxury expenses. It might be cheaper in your region (probably is), check the site

And yeah, even during winter with enough solar it works just fine and I hardly put a dent in my total battery % (but I have low power needs, no washing machine etc, just kitchen and computer stuff basically. The average home spends a shitload on aircon and washers/dryers and stuff when it can be cut back easily)
>>
>>540024270
that would be $500k in the US
>>
Total comfort, cozy condo cabin like overlooking at all the lifes luxuries at a hands reach.

how you keeping power costs down for heating? Do you pay property taxes in Sweden? Do you own your land? or rent? how much land etc? Firewood? Heavy blankets and clothes? (comfy anyways, love heavy clothes, love the cold)

Sounds like you are living the dream. Do you have passive income? what allows this level of comfy?
>>
>>540024641
this is probably from some hiking/camping shit people pay for

you don't rucksack cast iron unless you're stupid
>>
>>540024270
1 brev neger
>>
>>540025968
It was all planned from before, i work remote and planned this for a while

Heating is solved easily in cabin by wood fire + insulation (has come a LONG way), and in my van solved by diesel heater. It really isnt complicated in 2026 tbqh

I built a "nice" van (like, one of those ones you see on instagram) to live in first, then bought a block of land with a cabin and just moved in eventually when it was ready

Modern tech makes this all fucking easy with low effort, to be honest. Right now, for a few thousand dollars, you can just order all the stuff youll ever need off amazon and live indefinitely comfortably offgrid, its great
>>
>>540025086
Depends on zoning, alot of areas won't let you live in what's not considered "a proper dwelling". Technically it's not completely illegal, but you'll be far from most places of employment.
>>
>>540026000
Yeah, it is a public cabin. Come and go as you please, maintained by volunteer work. Too deep in the woods for thirdies and eastern-euros to ruin.

Consider me jelly. What size property? Clearly, you're innawoods and the world's your oyster, but what's the gubbernment's recognized dimensions? Do you hunt? Have you recently moved in? How are the harsh winters? What's your staple food? Do you subscribe to the Polish soup/thermos anon? Do you have a dog? I hope you have a dog, otherwise you're missing out on something, and will probably end up a nutcase.

Cheers, Jörgen. I'm jelly, and hope to sometime be brave enough to become a luddite innawoods nigger like yourself. Bless you.

dud this looks absolutely horrible, cold, dirty, impoverished.

absolutest top kek my guy! good find.

This is illegal in Canada because of zoning laws

Oh.
Was going to ask where you got it so cheap.
But in USA that would cost $100,000
>>
>>540025141
OR

You move to the woods with a bunch of buddies. Then you have all the socialization and help you need.
>>
>>540025164
poland isn't even that far north, there are people up FAR more north fully off-grid without breaking a sweat;

peak strat is the 1kw wood-powered sterling generator + heated water thing, this way u can have luxury all year round

or an EV with V2L and go fetch electricity if you run out

or a generator for those few days where solar provides nothing?

also u don't need much electricity for lights and USB-PD / DC outlets, just eliminate parasitic draws like the inverter & battery heater

cook on propane and burn wood for heat in the winter

just some ideas, it truly is dead simple and cheap if you're smart and DIY it
>>
>>540028072
In some ways, $100k is still "cheap" if everything else is covered (utilities, property tax)

You guys would fit right in here in Northern Michigan. All we do is fish and ski.
>>
>>540030539
You should look into the history of Minnesota and north middle America then lmao

A third of Sweden (or some crazy high number) moved over to the new world during our "dark ages"

Rural Michigan is actually kinda close to how it feels in sweden lol (and ive visited both, it really is strangely close)

>>
>>540024270
When I come over for dinner is I sitting on your bed at the table or on those stools that are so tall I'll have to sit 3 ft (1 meter) away from the table?
>>
>>540031254
there's a bench
>>
>>540031157
Yep, it usually is for "normal" households, who don't really need to keep track of each appliance use

Which is why a 12v fridge solves it immediately - I have a "nice" one, it uses realistically very little to keep things cool (I own one of those waeco rv fridges, 80l). Uses jack shit, electricity

There's also wind, I've seen some small helical wind turbines online which seem promising. Put a cage over them to save the birds too.

And as a last resort you can have a standing bicycle attached to a turbine.
