Isn’t this a pump? So prepare for the dump and make money with Trump. He does it every single time; as a matter of fact I challenge you miggers to show me an asset that he has held onto after he pumps it. There isn’t one bros, he has rug pulled every single time. He did it on Friday, Monday he will say “give it some time”. By Friday we will be war-ready, Monday it’s peace on earth.

How does selling euros increse the yens value.
Economistanons pls explain.
Also why is the yen collapsing in the first place?

Nothing to refine.

Why should they? What is the benefit for the Judeo-US-American empire? I don't believe it.

Japan holds a lot of US treasury bonds. If they sell, it's very bad for America. This is what started happening in the last crisis as well, and a similar action happened.
It's not a favor.

>Also why is the yen collapsing in the first place?
Because Asian markets are the most affected by the strait being closed. All this shit is to stop all the resulting consequences but it doesn't fix the problem.

they're swapping euros for yens, i.e dumping demand for our currency while driving it up for the other one

the reality is that they're reducing their exposure to the euro because they're anticipating escalated hostilities with the EU, from tariffs to another attempted annexation of Greenland. Japan is only an excuse. Should've organized a shock dumping of treasuries when we held the upper hand, instead of threatening to do so and then cucking out.

None of this shit makes sense. It's just moving numbers around hoping the goyim don't notice and still go to work tomorrow and buy useless shit to entertain themselves until they die.

>hard currency
Your currency is just as worthless as ours except it is backed by force faggot.

forex markets are only valued in what OTHER currencies said currency would buy. if one country had awful inflation their currency would collapse. if all nations had inflation, basically nothing would happen. forex markets are all relative.

You need yen to buy stuff from Japan. You get the necessary yen by trading them some of your currency (or other currencies, but leave that aside for now). If Japan's economy is doing bad, though, people stop trading their currency for yen, because they anticipate doing less business with Japan. This makes it harder for the Japanese to trade yen for other currencies to buy stuff from them, because suddenly nobody wants yen (the demand has fallen). This means they have to give more and more yen to get the same amount of the other currency (the yen has "depreciated"), which makes imports (which they're buying in the other currencies) more expensive (because they have to spend more yen to get the necessary amount of the other currency to buy the stuff). By buying yen, the United States is increasing demand for it, which means the Japanese can get more of other currencies for the same amount of yen (the yen has "appreciated"), which makes imports less expensive, which is (in this case) good for the economy. Normally, the reciprocal effect of this is to make your currency less valuable, but since the United States is trading euros for yen instead of dollars, it's lowering the value of the euro instead
