Are you ready for the next generation of police state surveillance?

Axon and Ubicquia partnered to create the Axon Lightpost, an intelligent, infrastructure-mounted public safety camera. It turns existing streetlights into real-time Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) and video monitoring tools.

It seems they plan to install these multi-tasking units on all 60 million streetlights in the USA, up to 240 million worldwide, within the next 18-24 months.

They also are likely well aware that these units will be mounted high and out of reach to those short little angry chuds whose grubby hands would normally try to sabotage a low-mounted Flock camera.

What are the political implications of having 24/7 video, audio, license plate readers (some already speculating possibly upgraded with wifi/bluetooth transmit-receivers and/or mobile phone stingers) mounted on numerous utility poles in your proximity every single day? At work, at home, on the streets? Coming soon to a pole near you!

If you don't live in USA, do not worry - they plan to install these systems worldwide!

Is that wifi on the top there up high where we can't reach it ?
>>
>>540034955
>wifi for everyone!
Though the system will be hardwired into broadband cables, critics claim advanced policing tools will be utilized.

"Law enforcement Wi-Fi interception involves capturing or monitoring wireless network traffic and radio signals, utilizing specialized tools like rogue access points, packet analyzers, or compliance frameworks under the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA)."

Methods and Capabilities:

**Packet Capture:**
Sniffing unencrypted or local wireless data packets using hardware or software tools within range of a target network.

**Rogue Access Points:**
Deploying specialized hardware (such as modified tactical gear) to mimic trusted networks and route or log target traffic.

**Wi-Fi Sensing:**
Analyzing radio wave reflections, scattering, and channel state information (CSI) to track movement or presence inside structures without physical entry.

All the hate is directed at Flock by normies but Axon, Motorola, Samsung, and other companies are making shit just as bad or worse.
>>
Some coconut niggers will just lasso it and ride the rope to collect their pay out

Installing them high up is just going to make them more expensive to replace because you can't just get one city worker, you need a spotter too. Probably have to shut down traffic.

This isn't a fight they can win.

that's ok, considering their cyber division is in india I assume most of their telemetry isn't functional anyway

These are different than Flock, they're "infrastructure grid protected", meaning they tie directly into protected infrastructure, being mounted on existing utility poles and directly connected to electric service and broadband/fiber optic. Meaning, you'll likely face terrorism charges for sabotage. (See picrel)

>do it in black block
>some other retard who brought his phone gets charged instead

>>540033523
There's probably more money inside those than is inside the flock cameras
>>
>>540035835
Making them directly connected to government infrastructure seems like it opens up 4th amendment issues. They have been getting around the 4th amendment using the loophole
>The government isn't doing warrantless surveillance
>A 3rd party is doing surveillance and the government is buying the data from them
>>
>>540035958
It isn't impossible to believe that when an alleged crime occurs, anyone (or anyone's devices) in the proximity of one of these smart streetlights will get a visit from the police to answer questions.

>>540036091
It seems strategic. They're building in loopholes into rights violations by using 3rd parties (the electric providers, the CATV providers, Axon, and any other entities). Police want to cyberstalk everyone while simultaneously claiming they're just subscribing to a commercial service.

It's okay that there's not much interest. We'll have to get used to being watched 24/7. I can't help but consider how many people will get caught up in the system because they were allegedly identified near where a crime occurred, or because AI determined that they matched a suspect etc. Some of you are lucky enough to live away from a nearby streetlight. For many of us, we have several streetlights within view of our front door.

Not the case here. These "people" are giving up every shred of liberty for less safety

It's white coded actually
