Fires are suddenly erupting across eastern Washington, following a series of ongoing fires in eastern Oregon which have burned nearly 2 million acres (810,000 hectares) in the past few weeks. Who is setting these fires?Incidentally, there have been controversial data center proposals for northwestern Spokane, the exact region which is on fire. I'm not saying it's connected. But I can't rule it out.

Where the problem is coming into play is that decades of mismanagement by tree-huggers, ranging from "REEE YOU NO CUT!" policy that's lead to a glut of fire fuels, to "REEE LEAVE NO TRACE!" allowing the BLM roads to be neglected or even destroyed that used to give access to all these places for fire suppression.
