On a per capita basis, the races are pretty well represented in mass shootings, middle easterners are a bit overrepresented, blacks are a bit underrepresented in a lot of stats but thats because they cut gang shootings out of the data. If you include gang shootings blacks get wayyyyy overrepresented. People dont look at/dont understand per capita and look at high profile incidents in a majority white country, AND tend to see Hispanics as whites whenever its a shooting and say "omg its mostly whites"
