There's currently a huge water crisis going on in India. It's estimated that by 2030 40% of the entire Indian population will not have access to clean drinking water, leaving hundreds of million of people in a pickle. Dozens of major cities also risk completely depleting their groundwater by that time.
Naturally this will lead to massive migration (within and outside of India) and possibly millions of people dying.
Is this is a good thing? Will the Earth take care of the jeet menace for us, or does this mean more jeets fleeing to the West?

Shortages of water, food and fuel. Not my problem. We have our own problems coming up that aren't dissimilar to India. Except winter is effective at house cleaning under prepared head count.
>>

The gods always give us more water. Water is least of our concerns.
>>

They are ahead of schedule. 0% of Indians have access to clean drinking water
>>
>starving to death because you live in a kingdom of monkies
>”pickle”

There is also potential for a large scale fertilizer crisis in India if the strait of Hormuz situation remains unsolved, which means food prices will go up and between 30 million and 50 million people in India could face famine. 230+ million Indians are already malnourished and food insecure

>>
And they want to put AI data centers which will make it mucccchhh worse

>every projection says there's going to be massive problems in the near future
>do not worrying saar, shiva will do the needful
I don't think sticking your head in the sand is going to work.

By 2030 they'll all be living in the West

link some studies then
the goi has been undertaking studies of interlinking rivers in india for any such eventuality so that excess from one place gets transported to the area with defeciency

what that means is the himalayan fed rivers will be linked and their excess water transported all across india
picrel a recent plan

Plans like this are a ridiculous attempt at staving off the crisis when the Indian government keeps doing things like subsidizing sugar cane farmers who use 70% of the available water on 2% of the crops in certain regions.
>>
>>540059960
But how will they get here if there's no fuel?
>>
>>540062239
we will subsidize sugar and we will continue using our nature endowed resources with some ingenuity

its not a matter of either or, but of and, there should not be choices in this case. If you are interested you can see the waterworks planning and execution at least in the past 15 years or so.

resources of the country are for the usage by its people, that is the job of the government to work towards not shy away
also, there was no piped water in all of india before, currently it is at picrel
>>
>>540062628
this includes piped water availability to the domicile even to the remotest of places, and most isolated villages

may not seem so impressive but we are talking about a population of ~1.4 billion spread across all manners of terrain

Maybe if the Jeets stopped dumping any and EVERYthing into their waterways, they would have shitlaods of fresh water...
>>
>>540059412
But they don't drink clean water already, which is the source of their zesty, spicy sovl.
So this is news? Feh.
